Some of the fresh screen shots from my desktop system using KDE4.5 as main desktop environment on openSUSE 11.3.

Here is Firefox 4 beta 2 in action which is quite stable for me.

A very useful widget for quickly accessing folders.
And KFind, more powerful and better search application. Nepomuk is not working on vast number of systems, so lets use KFind. A handful application.
May be you guys will be wondering where can you find the theme, color scheme and wallpaper. You can find all these stuffs in suse-art.org.

Hi all,
I already wrote two articles about KDE4.5 and reviewed beta 1 a little here. After release of beta 2, i thought to give it a try and check how it goes this time. Good news is that, some bugs are fixed and some are still there. But no complain as this in beta phase and we users need to help the devs improve it by filing and submitting bug reports. I had filed some bug reports. Some of the things which are not yet stable are (this is in my point of view, not necessary it create problems for all):
1- In the login screen, session and menu does not work at all.
2- Dolphin got headache and have had crashes on different activities like opening video file, closing it.
3- Desktop wallpaper and widgets goes missing after reboot OR logout.
4- Network manager does not show networks name on right click on it.
5- And last one for me is, it’s little slow compare to KDE4.4. It is for me, maybe for others it will be fast.
Above are just simple bugs and hope it will be fixed before final release. But rather than that, it looks promising and attractive. Nice icons, nice look, improved desktop and applications.
Note: Above review is just for my system, not necessary others also have this. Maybe creating new .kde4 will work, but i haven’t tried it as no time to start from scratch.

openSUSE 11.2 is out now and is rich of new softwares, latest builds and damn faster. I would like to share my desktop screen shots for 11.2 which i installed yesterday. I am writing a review and installation article, will publish it later.
OS: openSUSE 11.2 64bit with KDE4.3.1
