1st of all i will thank Carl(Moderator) from openSUSE forum, whose help is appreciated in this process.
Upgrading from KDE 4.3.1 to 4.3.3/4 is not that cumbersome task, i will guide here with snapshots which will make the upgrading process more easier. So lets start…
1- Add the following repositories in YaST -> Software Repositories -> Click Add button -> Choose specify URL and click Next
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/43/openSUSE_11.2/
For some community softwares add this repo following the above steps:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/openSUSE_11.2_KDE_43/
2- Now open Software management from YaST, select Repositories tab and then select the repo you just added(In my case i name it ‘KDE4.3.x‘), and click on “Switch system packages“. Do the same with the community repo too.
3- Click the “Accept” button, and you are done. YaST will download and install the latest packages for KDE. After that logout and login to the desktop to see the new changes.
4- Open ‘konqueror file browser’(My Computer), and check the information ‘OS information‘, OR from any software menu check out ‘Help‘ you can see the changes in ‘About KDE‘.

Thanks!!
do I need to switch both repo to system package?

@ Yunkwan:
Nope, you need to switch system package just for the main KDE43(1st one in the post above) repo. The 2nd one is community repo, which have extra packages, but not necessary to do change the system package for it.
Good luck.

Oh, thank you very much!
This’s the greatest upgrade tutorial I’ve ever seen. 2 months ago, I upgrade from 4.1.3 to 4.3.3 on opensuse 11.1 and there’re many troubles in my system. But now, everything is fine, no bug ^^. My KDE is 4.3.4 after upgrade followed above steps.
Oh, excuse me, Where are you from? I see the domain “anl4u.com” and I think it’s same as one word in VietNamese

Have a nice day.

I must have done something wrong, Followed these directions to a ‘T’ and it asked me to resolve about a 100 dependencies, which I did. It downloaded a bunch of stuff, I rebooted, and openSUSE was dead. I reinstalled to get back to normal, but am still stuck on 4.3.1.

@Ziane_ridling:
I already mailed you regarding your problem, but posting it here as a solution, that others can benefit form it in case of problems.
Sad news, that you broked the system and reinstalled again.
To me it looks like that you have some extra factory repos enabled/added, that made the conflicts with the current stable repo(in the post above).
What you need to do now is, don’t add any extra repo. Just add packman from YaST(YaST -> software repos ->community repos->packman).
After this add this repo(method mentioned in the post above for adding):
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/43/openSUSE_11.2/
Also dont add the 2nd repo from my post above.
Now goto to YaST->software management and repeat the steps in my post for upgrading.
Note: if there is any conflicts again, dont proceed with it, just post it here, so that we can look into it.
Hope it will work this time.
